Facilitation

Group facilitation

We facilitate groups in a purposeful and creative way to ensure quality, sound and practical outcomes.  With over 12 years facilitating diverse groups, we bring a wealth of experience combined with a strong commitment to ensuring groups have a positive and engaging experience and leave a session with a sense of achievement and focused commitment to the plan ahead.

Examples of types of sessions Jo Leonard and Associates have recently facilitated are:

  • Strategic planning sessions - With Boards and senior management teams to review or establish direction, commitment, pathways and accountabilities
  • Conference facilitation - creating energy, engagement and connection for all participants
  • Futures planning - blue sky thinking, then testing for robustness
  • Community engagement - what do the key stakeholders really think? How can really effective consultation best occur?
  • Various focus sessions as a result of organisational reviews, culture surveys, process improvements
  • Organisational values development - connecting with different parts of the organisation to identify key values, collaborate and synthesis options and opportunities
  • New teams setting up for success - establishing ways of working, communicating, dealing with conflict and achieving outstanding outcomes
  • Team audits - how are things tracking, what's working, what's working, what can we do differently?

When designing specific workshops and the key objectives to be achieved have been distilled and agreed, the workshop design is crafted in close consultation with the client.

An important strength of Jo Leonard and Associates is the robust conceptual thinking combined with solid group process skills that ensure strong results are achieved and the group accomplishes all its goals.
